Premium Bed Liner: Built for the Long Haul
Weather, rust and wear can cause major damage to truck beds over time, shortening their usable life and leaving unsightly marks. Rust-Oleum truck bed coatings all contain the powerful Stops Rust formula to halt corrosion and protect vulnerable metal from moisture. Specialized textured paints also include fade, chip, and scratch resistance to ensure that surfaces stay sealed and attractive through harsh conditions.
Use on new truck beds to ensure they stay in top condition or on old, worn beds to restore them to like-new quality.
Choosing the Right Coating
Aerosol
Spray on aerosols go on fast and make it easier to create a uniform, drip-free finish. They are ideal for coating tight spaces, corners and curves where brushes may have trouble reaching.
Brush-On
Traditional quarts or gallons can be used with a brush, roller or paint spraying system. They allow for more direct control during application and offer greater total coverage per can.
Clear Coat
Clear coats allow for the same degree of protection as opaque coatings while still letting the beauty of the original surface show. Great for keeping new truck beds looking their best.
Proper Preparation for Better Results
Remove Paint and Rust
Remove any loose paint or rust from surface. For better final coat adhesion, lightly sand surface with medium grit sand paper.
Thoroughly Clean Surface
Remove all dirt, grime, grease and residue from area to be painted. Allow to dry completely.
Mask Off Areas
Use painter's tape and coverings to mask off areas that you do not want coated. This will help avoid overspray errors.
Apply Paint
Using method indicated on label, apply 2-3 light coats. Refer to full instructions on can for recoating times.
